Specialist telecoms support teams

Clear the duct. Skip the dig.

Dedicated duct desilting, telecoms tree cutting, gully truck, tanker and high suction vacuum excavation teams, working nationwide for the UK’s major telecoms and infrastructure contractors.

£6,000

Approximate civils saving for every 100 metres successfully roped.

  • No unnecessary excavation

A recovered duct is a dig that never happens, with the cost, permits and reinstatement that come with it.

  • Fewer road closures

Less time with traffic management on the highway and less disruption for residents and road users.

  • Faster fibre build

Cabling crews follow straight on through a proven, roped duct instead of waiting on civils.

DS

Duct desilting and roping

Our core service. Two person civils avoidance crews locate the obstruction, jet the duct clear and leave a draw rope in place, ready for cabling. When a duct can be recovered, nobody needs to dig up the road.

  • Two person specialist civils avoidance crews
  • Rioned jetters fitted with jump jet pumps, using around a third less water on site
  • CCTV teams identify obstructions and built up debris from one and two stage manholes
  • Every duct we get through is roped
  • An A55 is always provided to the dig team on any blockage we cannot clear

Joint boxes and chambers full of silt and water slow every crew that follows. Our gully truck teams clean JRC chambers so the network can be worked safely.
